Our Projects
Beyond Borders Talks
Beyond Borders Talks is our flagship dialogue series bringing together policymakers, academics, local leaders, and community advocates to discuss the real challenges and opportunities facing Indonesia's border regions. From sustainable tourism and village SDGs to cross-cultural communication and education access, each session opens a new conversation — and builds the connections that drive change
Beyond Education Indonesia
Edu Sharing is our education program designed to bridge the knowledge gap between Indonesia's border communities and the wider world. Through workshops and sharing sessions held directly in border areas, we connect local educators, students, and community leaders with experts, best practices, and new ideas — because quality education should never be a privilege of geography.
Focus Group Discussion (FGD) — Cross-Border Communication
Our Focus Group Discussion program brings key stakeholders — from local government and community leaders to researchers and border affairs experts — together in direct, face-to-face dialogue. Held at border crossing points and local venues, these sessions surface ground-level insights that rarely reach national policy tables, and translate community voices into actionable recommendations.
Strategic Collaboration — Economic & Tourism Development
In partnership with local communities in Desa Sungai Limau, Nunukan, North Kalimantan, we implemented a solar-powered water pump system to provide clean water access for families living along Indonesia's border. This community project demonstrates our commitment to practical, sustainable solutions — where clean energy meets real human need at the frontier of the nation.
Book Chapter — Beyond Borders Indonesia: Toward Indonesia Emas 2045
Our contribution to national discourse on border region development, this collaborative book chapter documents the journey of Beyond Borders Indonesia and examines the challenges and opportunities of building a golden Indonesia from its frontiers. Published as part of a broader academic effort to bring border region realities into Indonesia's long-term development vision for 2045.
